Joining our Lodge
We’re always looking for new members. If you request to join our Lodge by using our Joining Form, we may ask you to provide your Email Address, Phone number, Age and your general location. After this initial contact, we will aim to meet you face to face, should you be interested in taking your application further. This is purely voluntary and informal, and no data will be stored from these meetings.
Deciding to Join:
Should you be accepted to join, we may require further data from you, including your Name, Date of Birth, Full Address and Occupation to process your application. This data will be stored by Temple 51 Masonic Lodge, and will not be stored online. In order to process your application, we will share these details with relevant Masonic Bodies, who oversee all entrance into Freemasonry. To process your application, your data will be shared with the Provincial Grand Lodge of Antrim, who oversee all Masonic Lodges in the Province of Antrim.
As a member
Once you have been accepted to join our Masonic Lodge, your personal data (including Name, Address, Date of Birth, Age and Occupation) will be shared with the Grand Lodge of Ireland, who oversee all Masonic Lodges in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. Temple 51 Masonic Lodge will store your data, including personal details, as long as you are a member. Should for any reason you leave Freemasonry, you can request for the erasure of all the data we hold for you, except that which we must keep for legal reasons.
Deciding not to join

We will ask your consent before doing this. After we have forwarded your email to another Masonic Lodge, any data that you choose provide that Masonic Lodge will not our responsibility as we will not be handling or storing such data. We will not be responsible for any interaction between you and this Masonic Lodge that we have referred you to. We will delete your emails from our inbox after 12 months.
How long we retain your data
